Bridalveil Creek Campground, is located in the southern area of Yosemite National Park along Glacier Point road a short walk from the rim of Yosemite Valley. Bridalveil Creek Campground is a first-come first-served campground located directly adjacent to the Glacier Point Road. Since it does not require a trek down a bumpy dirt road like some of the other campgrounds in Yosemite outside of the Valley it’s ideal for larger trailers, RVs and horse trailers (up to 35 feet).

Bridalveil Creek Campground contains 110 campsites and is in the high-country at 7,000 feet (2,100 m). Because of it’s altitude and location campground opening is contigent on the opening of the Glacier Point Road and snow coverage in the campground. The campground often doesn’t open until mid to late July. It is fairly isolated and quiet. This campground is ideal for photographers wishing to catch the sunrise or sunset at Glacier Point, a short drive (15 minutes) up the road. Unfortunately, this campground is 35–40 minutes from Yosemite Valley depending on traffic. Bridalveil Creek also makes a great base camp to explore the Ostrander Lake area, Sentinel Dome and Taft Point.

Each campsite contains a fire ring, picnic table, and food locker [33“(D)x45”(W)x18"(H)]. Amenities include a bathroom with potable water and flushing toilets nearby.
